School Vision

“Let all that you do be done in love.” (1 Corinthians 16:14)

In doing this we aim to enable each child to flourish by celebrating their individual strengths so that their greatness is not overlooked.  This creates a sense of dignity, respect and love for themselves, which they can then recognise and celebrate in others within the community and the world.

Our vision is based on the teaching of Jesus through the Bible; Jesus taught it was important to ‘love thy neighbour as thyself and used the story of the Good Samaritan to illustrate this telling us that by having love and respect for ourselves, we can impart this to others; and showing us the importance of loving those who are not like us as well. 1 Corinthians 13 describes the importance of love in its many different forms.

Through our vision we ensure that Lympstone C of E Primary School is a place where children develop the knowledge, skills and understanding to live confident, healthy and independent lives.  We know and value all of our children in this caring and welcoming school.  By delivering a broad, balanced and inspiring curriculum we aim to give each child every chance to excel.  It is our mission to ensure that our children leave Lympstone C of E Primary School as confident, happy young people with a multitude of open doors in front of them.

In our school, we ensure that we
