Clubs and activities
We offer a wide range of extra curricular clubs after school. Clubs change on a termly basis and parents can sign up for a place for their child via Parentmail. Please see below for a sample of our clubs and activities on offer. Clubs usually run for 10 weeks each term from 3.30pm til 4.30pm.
Choir
We have a thriving choir of approximately 40 children. We regularly perform in both school events and local events in the community.
Netball
We have a small group of keen netballers who practice weekly and take part in tournaments both in our school and other local schools.
KS1 Multiskills
Our Year 1 and 2 children during the Summer and Autumn term can take part in a multiskills club run by our PE coaching staff. There is a small charge for this club.
French & Spanish
We have a local MFL teacher who offers both a French and Spanish club after school. This is a fee paying club.
Tag Rugby
Our KS2 children have the opportunity to develop their tag rugby skills in a weekly club and play in tournaments with local schools
Drama
Every summer we stage a fantastic drama production. Children audition for parts in school and rehearsals take place after school weekly throughout the summer term. Choir are always involved as well. The shows at the end of the term are a popular event in our annual calendar and are always a sell out!
Girls & Boys Football
We offer a football club after school run by Football Southwest.
Yoga
A local yoga teacher runs a morning Yoga club before school. This is a fee paying club.
In addition to our after school clubs we offer an indoor colouring club at lunchtime which is really popular with children who do not always want to be on the playground and Little Lunch for invited children in Year R.
