Headteacher's Message

INSPIRING * BELIEVING * ACHIEVING

Our school motto demonstrates the power of primary education and how it can shape and determine ones future by creating a love for learning and the ability to reach your dreams

On behalf of all the children, staff and Governors I'd like to welcome you to Lympstone C of E Primary School

The school is a village primary school with a strong Christian ethos which strives for success and happiness for all who belong to the school community. We celebrate achievements at all levels delivering a broad curriculum which is both stimulating, creative and challenging.  We aim to prepare our children for a multi-cultural, technologically driven and unknown future by instilling independence, confidence and an understanding of others. This message is delivered through our everyday actions, the challenges of the curriculum and our Christian values.

The importance of independence, communication and co-operation is embedded in everything we do.  We strive to have positive, effective communication and links with all families, the local community including the church and many outside supportive agencies. Mt door is always open and I am here to help you and your children have the best education and the happiest, most stimulating formative years that they can.  Working with you in partnership will ensure we provide the best for all our children.

Our school prospectus has been designed to give you an insight in daily life at Lympstone and answer many questions you may have about the school, eliminating any anxieties that you or your child may have about joining us.

The whole school community looks forward to welcoming you whether you are joining us at the beginning of the year or part way through. Alongside our caring and dedicated teaching and non-teaching staff, I will facilitate a smooth transition into every-day life at our school.

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me, visitors are warmly welcomed – please make an appointment if you would like to come and see us in action!

I look forward to meeting you.
