Parent Council

“Let all that you do be done in love.” (1 Corinthians 16:14)

We have a very active, friendly Parent Council who meet with the Head teacher once a term. The council is made up of volunteers from each class. The members have been an invaluable source of support and decision making within the school. They are able to discuss and share the parents’ voice on agendas items which are pre- determined prior to the meeting.

Our Parent Council operates within the guidelines of the Parentkind programme.

In recent times Parent council have discussed :

  • School dinners
  • Spelling programmes
  • Extra- curricular clubs
  • Communication with in the school
  • Curriculum provision

It is a great forum for parents to be able to ask about school matters in more detail and to convey positive school messages to the wider school community.

We hope you might consider joining the parent council at the beginning of a year.
