British Values
Each class aims to develop children’s understanding of The British Values, not just in words but in actions too. This is age appropriate depending on the class.
Our School Council have been instrumental in ensuring that British Values are embedded within the school. The delivery of PSHE and RE curriculums has helped to highlight the importance of the five values in everyday life. Older children are taught to discuss and debate the values and how they may differ for individuals and in specific situations.
You will see The British Values displayed in classrooms and around the school, just like our school values, children are congratulated on using them in everyday school life.
Our Ofsted 2022 inspection report highlighted:
"Pupils are encouraged to discuss important global issues. They have a secure understanding of British values such as democracy."
